Location: Bratislava, Venturska Street, historical district/centre
King Mathew Korvin established the Academia Istropolitana in 1465. Back then Slovakia was a part of the Kingdom of Hungary. Academia Istropolitana is the oldest and the first Slovak university. Currently, it is the seat of the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (VSMU). Academia Istropolitana is a national cultural heritage of Slovakia.
