The Grassalkovich Palace was built in 1760 by a Croatian Count Grassalkovich. Now the palace is the residence/seat of the president of the Slovak Republic. A beautiful garden with the statue of Maria Theresa ( archduchess of Austria and queen of Hungary and Bohemia) is the part of the palace. Unlike the Grassalkovich Palace, the garden is open to public every day.
