Domica Cave

Location Kečovo, village Rožňava, Slovenský kras

Domica Cave is situated in the Slovak Karst National Park in an altitude of 339 m. The car park is in front of the cave. The overall length is 5,368 m. There are cascade pools onion-shaped stalactites, and stalagmites inside this Slovakia cave. Temperature inside the cave is 10 - 11 degrees Celsius. The Domica Cave has three pathways. The short pathway is 780 m long and takes 45 minutes. The long pathway is 1,180 m long and takes 60 minutes. The third pathway of Domica Cave includes boat trip and is 930 m long. The boat trip is 150 m and takes 60 minutes. The height difference is 3 – 7 m. The Domica Cave of Slovakia forms a unique complex along with Baradla cave of Hungary.
