Park Snow Donovaly is one of the top ski resorts in Slovakia and is a popular tourist resorts for winter holidays. Park Snow Donovaly is a holiday village with accommodation and restaurants, located in popular tourist area in western part of the Low Tatras. Park Snow Donovaly is situated along the road between Banská Bystrica and Ružomberok at an altitude from 940 to 1361 meters.
Both parts of the Park Snow Donovaly ski resort, Záhradište and New Hoľa tourists are fully available for tourists. In Záhradište there are 4-chair ski lifts and in New Hoľa there are 6-chair ski lifts with 8-seater cabin-car.
The ski resort Park Snow Donovaly is equipped with 17 ski lifts, 2 chair lift and 4 cross country skiing slopes. There are 17 ski slopes with length of 11 km (8 km is artificial snow), 3 of them are medium difficult, one ski slope is difficult and the rest are easy ski slopes. You will find Mountain Rescue Service at each cable-chair and ski lift station.
The ski slopes in the Park Snow Donovaly recreation centre offer excellent skiing conditions for slalom, downhill skiing, Cross-country skiing and snowboarding for skiers of all ages.
